About Us

CBC-01

A warm welcome awaits you at this historic village church. Services on a Sunday are usually held at 10.45am and 6.00pm. We have an all age style of worship in the morning services, with separate age-related teaching groups, combining elements of traditional and modern worship formats. Evening worship is a more traditional, devotional service.

We see prayer as an important part of church life and have a well-attended weekly prayer meeting. There are also numerous activities which run during the week, including home groups, Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade and Toddle Inn. Check out our Church Life section to find out more.

The church has met since 1676, and is named after William Carey who was instrumental in founding the Baptist Missionary Society, and was once minister here.

You would be very welcome to join us. To find out more about what goes on, please choose from the menu. If you are new to the church or the area, then please check out our New to Church page to get all the information about what goes on at our church.
